La Casa Lopez in Moscow

Have enjoyed La Casa Lopez through college years and after! Great food, mojitos, and margaritas. Definitely recommend!

One of the best places in Moscow to enjoy Mexican cuisine. The Enchiladas suizas and Enchiladas a la crema were both great. The Pina colada was anazing!

Went there with a group of friends (8 people), and they were so welcoming and generous with us.

I had the enchiladas Mexicanas. It was delicious! Utensils were clean and atmosphere was great! Has a bar but is kid friendly. Waiters are kind and will hear out customers' needs. Food quality is amazing, served fresh on a piping hot platter. I only ask that next time the beef wasn't cooked on a cast iron skillet. You can taste the slightly dry and crispiness from cooking it on a cast iron. It tastes phenomenal but discards originality from true Mexican cuisine.

I love to eat here. It is good food and most of the time good wait staff. Maybe once or twice have we had a crabby waitress or waiter. We don't go here often as it I a treat. It is around average price for a sit down meal. The food is delicious! My favorite is the fajitas and we also love the fajita burrito, and the enchiladas.

Good food, good portions, good service, good prices, pretty clean. Chile verde (pork with green sauce) enchiladas lunch menu item was a HUGE portion & very tasty, will order again! We are true Mexican food lovers! Hubby says Chile verde tacos were excellent & huge portion. Carnitas meal is huge & delicious. Kids love the cheese enchiladas, burger, grilled cheese sandwich & rice & beans. The shrimp meal (Mojo de ajo?) is excellent! We don’t really care for the shredded meats. Excellent chips & salsa!*IF YOU LIKE REAL MEXICAN FOOD & FLAVOR DO NOT GET THE TACO SALAD!!!!!!!!!!! Bland & I would not eat it for free! But lots of people in this area like it, for some reason * 😋

Decent place to eat in the heart of Moscow. It is a little on the expensive side depending on what you order but I wasn't disappointed with serving size. Atmosphere is great with a water feature in the center.

Always something good and something bad. Tried 3 times to like this place. Ground beef will be pink because that is how it comes. Ordered guacamole another time but they omitted seasoning and left avocado stems in. My kids love tacos but won't eat the ones here because they're always super watery. Last time I asked if that was normal. Was told yes but they'd be sure to drain the meat this time - tacos arrived too watery to eat, hard shells turn to mush. Enjoyed the margaritas though.

As always LA Casa Lopez is quick, delicious, and budget friendly for the whole family. Have been here a dozen times and each time they have excellent service and good attitudes. Great place for the dinner you want.

Delicious and authentic. You wouldn't expect a small town in Idaho to have such an amazing restaurant featuring South American foods. Having grown up in southern Arizona this is some of the best dining I've come across since leaving that part of the country. And honestly, even if the food was mediocre the restaurant is quirky and adorable and the staff is always incredibly friendly. Stop reading this review and just go already!

With restaurants closed we thought we would try the take out option. I didn’t expect the stale chips to be the best part of the meal, but I was wrong. Chili Verdi was thin and runny, meat was over cooked rice and beans were watery. Apparently when you get money up front and send food out you don’t care about quality. I’ve had better TV dinners.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. Good for friendly service and fast to come out. The food is never lacking in seasoning or flavor, it's always hot! Have I talked about the free chips and salsa? I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good place for a date or a family night out. An awesome place with a fountain in the center and great music!

Recently, La Casa has seen a dramatic increase in their prices. We used to frequent this place often, in recent times I have had to change locations to avoid breaking the bank when taking more than another person out with me. Even the basics have dramatically increased in value,.

Home of the best fajitas in Moscow and bean dip to die for. Pretty good homemade chips and salsa as well. I've never had anything less than stellar and friendly service. I love the authentic atmosphere and music as well!

The food here is great, the chips amd bean dip were great so tasty. The prices are fair and the taste of the food was delicious my very very picky special needs son almost cleared his plate but he was full lol that never happens. The inside was cute and calm and the staff was friendly. Definitely a good meal after a 4 hour drive.

Beautiful restaurant with a very nice and comforting environment. I love the food and recommend the la casa burrito it is by far my favorite on the menu. The bean dip they give you for free is amazing with their chips and I usually end up buying another dish. I highly recommend this place and if it’s your birthday they will sing to you.

We sat next to a couple on their 16th wedding anniversary. This place was where they had their 1st date. There's a reason people are loyal to this place. It's amazing.

First time here. I was disappointed. The chips were cold, thick and tough. The salsa was decent. I wanted sangria but they don't serve it. The house red is pretty good. I ordered the Enchiladas with the Verdi sauce which was tart to the point of being sour. Rice and beans were ok and the dish came with what amounted to a side salad on top. Why do they do that? Service was excellent.

Best Bean dip ever! Great place to eat out with family and friends and great foods!Wonderful atmosphere! Alive and inviting! Staff are friendly and Mitch walks around and checks on your service and is friendly. My best friend and I always plan our get together Wednesday night “2 for one Margaritas!”Can’t beat it! A definite must place to eat!K

While visiting from out of town last weekend, we ordered dinner to go on Saturday night. The food was delicious! We shared a carne asada burrito that was one of the best I’ve ever had. The steak was tender, well-seasoned and plenty of it. The black bean dip, salsa and guacamole were also terrific. I give them kudos for their friendly and efficient curbside pick-up service amid covid. We’ll definitely be back - hopefully we can sit out on the patio and have a margarita next time!

Went for my son's birthday and the owner and staff were great! The food is to die for every single time we go! Love this restaurant! And the owner really kept the community spirit during these trying times

Everything was just so freaking off. All the food here seems like something a 16 year old stoned young man is trying to imitate authentic Mexican cuisine. Food prices were decent. Staff was nice I must say.

My food was great, mole chicken. Sister had fajita steak salad. Peppers and onions too large and the skirt steak was so tough that it couldn't even be cut with a steak knife. Waitress noticed that she had "left" quite a bit of the salad, but never inquired as to why OR make any attempt to rectify

If you’re looking for great authentic Mexican food, go here. I occasionally get to Moscow and tried this restaurant and it was amazing. The service is great, and the owner is around to make sure everyone is satisfied with their experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I have to agree with those who say it is bland. Shredded chicken, beans, rice all bland. The enchilada sauce was super bland, I've had better out of a can. The fresh salsa and chips were great but it went down hill from there. Also agree with the over abundance of cheese review. And $3.00 for a fountain soda that costs 5 cents to produce!!!! Please. Service was good and fast. Due to the high price of the sodas our "discount" lunch for 2 with a decent tip was $24. I won't be going back. On a side note: They claim to be a Mexican restaurant but always seem to be playing nothing but Cuban music.

Have been there three times now. The food quality is consistent and delicious. Good sized portions, friendly and fairly attentative staff along with a pleasant motif. The refried black beans and salsa they give with the chips are amazing. Overall a good atmosphere, great food and okay prices. A must try if in the area.

This a family-owned, Mexican, restaurant with authentic, Mexico, not Mex-American, dishes. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff operates an efficient and courteous operation. Definitely a place to go to when in Moscow, ID.

Last week I asked for a catered version of a menu item for a special dinner. Casa did an AMAZING job! It was delicious, and very thoughtfully packed. We were all over the moon about it. What an amazing kitchen staff they must have!

I had their fajita plate, delicious! Their black bean dip served with chips was different but very tasty. A good place to go with family and large groups.
